We Need a Little Christmas, right this very minute!

It's been fun this year decorating the new house. Trying to figure out where to put the tree, which decorations to put where. Purchasing some new things to add to the Christmas decor.

The Nativity with my Magic of Christmas board above it.
It reads, "The magic of Christmas is not in the presents, but in His presence."
The mantle and new purchases stocking hangers and stockings.

The ledge. Glass "Believe" brick, stackable hat box snowman, berry trees on candle sticks, and santas.

The banister.
It's almost done. Just imagine some red bows.

And who can forget Andie and Kate modeling their Chrismas dresses?!?

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS!!!

Home Sweet Home

We are finally moved in and mostly unpacked. We're starting to feel somewhat settled, and are loving the new house. The girls are doing well, and Kate has already made some new friends. She also starts her new preschool in about a week and a half. She can't wait! We just barely got our home phone hooked up (yesterday), but were lucky enough to keep the same phone number.

The back view.

More pictures to come later.

So long, farewell...

Auf Wiedersehen, good night.
I hate to go, and leave this pretty sight!

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu.
Adieu, adieu, to yieu,

and yieu,

and yieu.
And I just can't come up with any clever pictures or comments for the rest of the song.

Yes, we are moving. I am sad, stressed, and excited all at the same time. I'm sad to leave this wonderful ward where I've made such great friends in the time we've been here. I'm stressed about all the packing I have to do, and making sure it all gets done before Saturday morning. And I'm, excited to be moving into a beautiful, new home.

I've also been kind of emotional lately. I cry over the thought of leaving our ward friends, and especially the Young Women whom I've grown to love. It's definitely a bittersweet time in my life.

To my ward friends: feel free to come hang out with me this week. I'll be packing like a mad woman.

P.S. If you do come visit, don't be surprised if I randomly tear up! You all know I cry over everything!

P.P.S. Please forgive me for my future infrequent postings. I'm moving out, and moving in! I'm going to be one busy mama!

It's Official!!!

Our house is on the market!

And we had our first showing this morning.

Now I just have to keep it clean and looking good so people can come see it!

I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning. My dad said I "cheated." But, hey, you do what you gotta do! They were delicious, and they made the house smell heavenly! I had to be here to let the "Potential Buyers" and their realtor in, and the first thing the potential buyer said was, "Ohhhh, it smells WONDERFUL!" Glad to know my hard work paid off, and the house smelled good.

So, if anyone knows of someone looking for a nice house in the Provo area in a good neighborhood...pass ours along! (There's not a sign in the yard yet, but I am assured it is in the works.)
