It's Official!!!

Our house is on the market!

And we had our first showing this morning.

Now I just have to keep it clean and looking good so people can come see it!

I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning. My dad said I "cheated." But, hey, you do what you gotta do! They were delicious, and they made the house smell heavenly! I had to be here to let the "Potential Buyers" and their realtor in, and the first thing the potential buyer said was, "Ohhhh, it smells WONDERFUL!" Glad to know my hard work paid off, and the house smelled good.

So, if anyone knows of someone looking for a nice house in the Provo area in a good neighborhood...pass ours along! (There's not a sign in the yard yet, but I am assured it is in the works.)

Looks Can Be Deceiving

NEWS FLASH: She only LOOKS sweet and innocent!

Today my oldest daughter, who I thought was sleeping, climbed out through a basement window and wandered around the neighborhood.
How do I know she did this, you ask?
She took my camera, and documented her escape!

The fence and rocks outside the window she climbed out.

A shot of her bare feet on the driveway. (Just for you CJane!)

A tulip in the flowerbed at the end of the driveway.

Our mailbox with our house in the background.

Neighbor's house across the street.

At least she was still safely on our side of the street.

Neighbor of the neighbor across the street.

She was still safe on our side of the street.

The sidewalk.

A shot down our street.

And my favorite of the day...a picture of her shadow.

I love the dainty pinkie finger in the air!

The Bright Side: At least I know she didn't wander too far from home.

And, tomorrow when she says she wants to take a nap in the basement, I think I'll be a little more skeptical!

My Clever Kid

This was a dialog Kate and Rob had early this evening as Rob was doing something in the basement:
Kate: Dad, is the basement a place?
Rob: What do you mean?
Kate: Is the basement a place?
Rob: Yeah, why?
Kate: Mom said these juice boxes are for when we go places.
The juice box was already opened, and we surely had a good laugh. So if any of you are wondering, the basement is definately a place!

Wait for it...

Here is the promised, and much awaited video. It's a bit long, but if you wait for it, it will be worth it. Watch Sara (Kate and Andie's cousin) on the left of Andie.

Let Them Eat Cake!

Andie turned 2 on Sunday. I can't believe my "baby" is 2 already! Where has the time gone? Seriously. It seems like just yesterday she looked like this:

Andie soon after we brought her home from the hospital.

Or even like this:

Andie on her 1st Birthday.
Now my baby is all grown up, and looks like this:
Babies grow up too quickly. I always say Heavenly Father knew what he was doing, making babies grow up so fast. Your baby grows up, and then you want another little one. We're not quite ready to add another one to the mix just yet, but then again, you never know...

Anyways, we celebrated by having a family dinner followed by presents and thn cake and ice cream. Andie had a blast.

Sporting her Princess Bling from Sara.

Sitting in her Elmo Chair from mom and dad.

Just a cute picture of my baby who is no longer a baby!

Admiring her bling.

Andie even picked her own cake. Everytime we went to Sam's Club, Andie would point to the picture of this cake and say (read: yell), "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo."
I thought it turned out really cute, and Andie LOVED it!

She didn't really eat the cupcake, but she sure liked licking the frosting off her fingers.

And, as an added bonus, she was a whole lot cleaner after eating her cake than she was last year!

P.S. I still havent' figured out how to save my video at a lower resolution so Blogger will let me upload it. So, check back again in the next couple of days.
Trust me...YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS IT!

My Top Model

I decided to get Kate's hair cut again. Rob was against the idea, but I convinced him to see things my way. Kate absolutely hates getting her hair brushed, combed, fixed, ect. It is a fight every day just to make her hair presentable. I told him that he was welcome to be the one to fight her everyday, and if he wanted to be the one to fix her hair everyday, he was welcome to.

He was not a fan of that idea.

I opted for the A-line cut. And I must say it is adorable! Really we just brush it and go. Sometimes, and I repeat, SOMETIMES she lets me curl it under with a curling iron. Like today. She had a new outfit, and wanted everyone to think she looked cute, so she let me curl her hair. Then, of course, she asked for a photo shoot. To which I obliged.

She came up with these poses on her own.

This kid is definitely NOT camera shy!

Work it! Work it!

America's Next Top Model: Here I come!

No photo shoot is complete without a shot with the Lil' Sis.
