Andie has suffered yet another haircut by Kate.
Luckily Kate survived, and has lived to tell the tale.
Apparently Andie found the scissors, and Kate told her "you can't play with those. Put them away." So Andie did. Then, Kate said, "Then I was sitting on the toilet, and I thought I wanted to cut Andie's hair, so I could be a grown-up. So I did."
Anyways, this time it was just a little ponytail off the top of her head, and it was cut above the elastic this time. There is a place right in the front where it's pretty much to the scalp, but there's still that baby fringe there too. Hopefully this time it won't take as long to grow out!

I decided to have Jamie cut Kate's hair short so it would have to grow out like Andie's. Laraasked Kate why she didn't cut her own hair. Her reply, "Because my hair is pretty."

Ok, I tried really hard not to laugh since this is round two...but oh my gosh! That is so bad. I think you need to really hide those scissors or put them super high. Kate is a hoot!

I stopped myself from laughing (especially after remembering the last time) but the last line just got me.

I love how the the temptation came to her while she was on the toilet! That is classic! I am also glad to hear that Kate survived to tell the tale...I don't know if Kayla will survive the next time she cuts her own hair (she's done it twice now too!)
So, let me get this straight... Kate gets a cute new haircut as punishment for cutting Andie's hair?
Doesn't matter what Kate does, Andie's so stinkin' cute. (Kate's pretty adorable, too. The spunky ones are my favorites!)

Gerb - Yes. That was Kate's punishment. She did NOT want to get her hair cut. We had been doing some really cute things with her hair, and she was excited to be growing it long. But she understood that she had made a bad choice, and understood why she had to get her hair cut too. She's really lucky I didn't get out the clippers and buzz it all off! (And believe me, I sure wanted to in the heat of the moment!)
Oh man. . .You are a great mother for not murdering Kate. She is destined to be a hairstylist someday!
Yikes! That' one of my biggest fears:) Kelsey's very mischievous and I just know she'll find the scissors one day. Except I don't think she'll go for the hair. It's going to be everything else. But their haircuts are both way cute. I can't even tell Kate went to town on Andies hair. You have cute girls.
