Andie got her hair fixed today. I was so worried that we were going to have to buzz it all off. Thank goodness for good hairstylists who know what they are doing. Jamie (the stylist) said it was probably the worst haircut she'd seen (and she's seen several on her nieces).
Andie ended up with a cute, trendy style which will require lots and lots of product. We have to slick the top over to hide her "unicorn patch," as I call it, and then put a little tiny clip in it. This is followed by lots and lots of hairspray to get all the butched pieces to stay in place. Then we use some pomade and flip out the back. Again, this is followed by lots and lots of hairspray. Then I hope and pray we don't have to go anywhere that requires her to get in her carseat. Because once she's in her carseat, there's no hope for the cute little flipped back.
The front. Notice the cute little clip. I'll be investing in a few more, because I'll most likely lose more than one.
The side view. It turned out much better than I thought it would.

The top view. Notice the "unicorn patch."

By the looks of these pictures, I don't think Andie cares too much about her hair. I'm just happy she still looks like a little girl.
What do you think?

Well I found your blog through CJane's and I have to say that your daughter is such a cutie pie!!!! Love that spiky hair : )
C Wis,
Thanks! I think so too, but I also am a little biased, seeing as she is my daughter. Thanks again.
She looks very stylin! I love the unicorn patch! She does still look like a little girl though and I love how cute the clip looks!
Thank heaven for good stylists! Was Kate taking notes at the salon? That sounds like a high maintenance hair style for an 18-month old!
You're wonder woman.
I think she looks darling and no one in their right mind would think she was a boy! The unicorn spot will be grown over in a matter of days and then she will be the trendy girl in nursery!
So cute! Turned out great! What is it with kids cutting their hair? Each one of mine has (minus the baby- so far) When my oldest daughter was 5 (certainly past the hair cutting stage- so I thought), she had a long ponytail which she just snipped off- to look like "Mulan". Thanks Disney!
WOW!! Her hair is adorable!! I am so glad that you were able to turn her amateur haircut into something so stylish!! She is absolutely adorable!!!
I am next in line. What does she charge?
